ICFJ launches COVID-19 reporting contest [Worldwide]

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), with support from Google, will award stories published on COVID-19 in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

Journalists worldwide can enter this competition.

Entries must have been published between June 1 and Nov. 7, 2020. The categories are science and health; transparency, crime and corruption; and inequality, business and economics.

The top three articles in each category will receive US$1,000, US$500 and US$250.

Contestants must be members of the Global Health Crisis Reporting ForumForo de Cobertura de la Crisis Mundial de SaludFórum de Reportagem sobre a Crise Global de Saúde or Forum de Reportage sur la Crise Sanitaire Mondiale.

The deadline is Nov. 8.
