The Brown Institute for Media Innovation of Columbia University, New York, has announced the virtual launch of Maternal Figures, a database of maternal health interventions implemented in Nigeria over the last 30 years.
The database, which is the result of a research jointly conducted by Ashley Okwuosa and Chuma Asuzu will be unveiled on 3rd September, 2020 @2pm GMT.
The database includes more than 500 source documents, such as reports, evaluations, research, and interviews relating to the maternal health interventions, and is expected to serve as a resource for journalists looking to produce rigorous, solution-oriented reporting about maternal health in Nigeria.
The event will also host a panel on maternal health reporting in Nigeria.
