Call for Participants: Online Journalist Training on Climate Change Reporting

Future Climate for Africa, together with leading experts, is hosting an online climate change journalist training on 5, 7 and 9 October 2020.

The aim of the training will be to increase journalists’ understanding of climate change and their capacity to report on climate change issues in Africa.

The training will consist of three online workshop sessions (approximately 90 minutes each). Story development will involve one-on-one mentoring from an experienced climate journalist to provide guidance as journalists develop this story.

Application requirements:

  • You must be an African journalist
  • Strong proficiency in English as this will be the language of instruction for the training
  • A sufficient internet connection to be able to attend all online sessions
