Filme ton quartier contest for young videographers open [Francophone countries]

Videographers from the French-speaking world aged 16 and over are invited to participate.

The documentary unit of France Télévisions and france-tv slash, in association with the FoundationTV5MONDE and in partnership with YARD média are organizing the Filme ton quartier contest under the theme “Ça va ma gueule?

This contest is open to all French-speaking residents of France, overseas territories, Europe and Africa. Its objectives are to promote access to the world of television and digital media, to celebrate the diversity of France and the French-speaking world, and to highlight new talent from villages, cities, rural areas and neighborhoods.

Winners will receive prizes ranging from a professional camera, to broadcasts on France 3 channels, to writing grants and financial aid, ranging from EUR3,000 to EUR7,000.

The deadline is April 28.
