The DIG Awards 2023 will be presented at the next DIG Festival, to be held in Modena, Italy, September 21-24, 2023.
Evaluating and awarding the competing projects will, as always, be DIG’s international jury of leading journalists and some of the most important international broadcasters.
As every year, DIG offers several competition categories.
For video products, these are based on the content characteristics of the projects and their duration and are “Investigative Long,” “Investigative Medium,” “Reportage Long,” “Reportage Medium,” and “Shorts.”
For audio products, such as podcasts and radio surveys, however, the Audio category is available.
The deadline for submission of applications is June 15, 2023.
The DIG Pitch, on the other hand, is the competition category dedicated to video projects in the process of implementation or not yet completed or realized for which DIG provides a prize of up to 15 thousand euros for the production of a documentary film. In this case there is time until July 15, 2023 to submit applications.
